The new Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo electrified Goodwood with a stunning performance on the Hillclimb.
For over 25 years, the Goodwood Festival of Speed in England has become established as the ultimate forum in which to showcase the world’s most exciting cars and to celebrate motorsport achievements of every variety.
The renowned 1.16 mile (1.86 km) Hillclimb course that snakes past the family home of the Duke of Richmond in the West Sussex countryside once again welcomed fans after a year’s absence in 2020. The event roared back into life in typical Goodwood style, and Porsche was at the forefront of festivities.
For many, this was the first look at the new Taycan Turbo Cross Turismo as it effortlessly navigated the twisty, tight turns of the track.
Built to embrace every adventure, the greater versatility offered by the all-wheel drive, five-door Taycan Cross Turismo makes the car a true all-rounder. Like the Taycan saloon, the Cross Turismo benefits from an innovative electric drive with 800-volt architecture. The new high-tech chassis with all-wheel drive and adaptive air suspension standard on the Cross Turismo ensures confident handling and greater control off the beaten track. Add up to 47 mm more headroom for rear seat passengers and over 1,200 litres of luggage capacity, accessed through the large rear tailgate, and the Cross Turismo is ready for adventure.
