The Porsche 911 has been crowned Used Sports Car of the Year at the annual Car Dealer magazine awards ceremony 2022.
James Baggott, editor-in-chief of Car Dealer, said: "This year’s winner remains one of the best driver's cars ever made. There’s a 911 for everyone, with the range consisting of coupé, convertible and Targa models. The winner could be nothing other than the iconic Porsche 911." The "fantastic residual values" and "looks and brand cachet" of the Porsche were also praised.
Mike Brewer, Car Dealer Used Car Awards host, said: "The 911 is an absolute legend of the car world. Every generation is thrilling to drive, but also the 911 always offers true all-year-round appeal that buyers love. It’s still a benchmark which all other sports cars are judged by."
The Car Dealer Used Car Awards, held by Car Dealer magazine, celebrates the best of the best in the used car industry, and has been spotlighting the top dealers and manufacturers since 2012.

For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
